ZOO Olomouc at Svatý Kopeček keeps over 380 animal species and offers a unique shark aquarium with a volume of 42,000 litres — the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic — housing blacktip reef sharks. In the adjacent 17,000-litre tank, spotted eagle rays and other large marine fish swim freely; the overall aquarium exhibition includes over two dozen tanks with both marine and freshwater species. School groups receive discounted admission, and the zoo offers guided tours and worksheets suitable for natural science and biology lessons.
