ZOO Olomouc at Svatý Kopeček keeps over 380 animal species and offers a unique shark aquarium with a volume of 42,000 litres — the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic — housing blacktip reef sharks. In the adjacent 17,000-litre tank, spotted eagle rays and other large marine fish swim freely; the overall aquarium exhibition includes over two dozen tanks with both marine and freshwater species.
