Velké Meziříčí Chateau was built on the site of a medieval castle from the 13th century. After a Renaissance reconstruction in 1578 and a Baroque renovation following a fire in 1723, it became home to a museum exhibition. The Gothic-Renaissance loggias and Baroque interiors with six centuries of collections are unique highlights. It also houses a collection of Cubist furniture from 1913.
