The Baroque Waldstein Chateau in Litvínov, built in 1732–1743 (architect F. M. Kaňka), today serves as a museum and gallery. The exhibitions are devoted to the town's history, textile production, and the Podkrušnohoří region. The museum was established here in 1964.
