Zámek Tovačov in the Přerov region has an 85 m tall Spanilá věž (Fair Tower), the tallest chateau tower in the Czech Republic. The original water fortress and castle was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau at the end of the 15th century by Ctibor Tovačovský z Cimburka, and the tower was built in 1492. Tours include the tower's viewing gallery, a Renaissance portal, the chateau chapel, the knights' hall and the assembly hall, a ceremonial hall, and permanent exhibitions including one on the 1866 Battle of Tovačov. The chateau is situated by Tovačovské jezero lake, a popular natural destination.
