Baroque château from the turn of the 17th–18th century in Slavkov u Brna, where Napoleon Bonaparte signed the armistice after his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz (1805). Museum of Napoleonic battles with unique exhibits. A rich school programme includes interactive tours, costumed guides and excursions to the battlefield.

The Baroque rebuilding was commissioned in the late 17th century by Dominik Ondřej Kounic, who entrusted it to the Italian architect Domenika Martinelliho z Luccy.
The frescoes were painted by Andrea Lanzani, who worked with the stuccoist Santinem Bussim, and the sculptures in the chateau and park are by Giovanni Giuliani.
