An Empire-style chateau near Opava, rebuilt in the 1820s for Count Larisch-Mönnich. It grew out of a 16th-century Renaissance residence and is now managed by the National Heritage Institute. Guided tours lead through the staterooms, the technical facilities and the trail of Count Gebhard Blücher's African expedition; the Neoclassical orangery with its ornamental garden is open separately. Suitable for school trips with educational programmes.
