A historic castle rising above the confluence of the Elbe and Vltava rivers, owned by the Lobkowicz family since 1753. Visitors can admire the historic interiors featuring a picture gallery, collection of maps and furniture, and explore the extensive wine cellars spread across three underground floors. The castle continues the tradition of a residence for Bohemian queens and princesses — over a thousand years, 23 Czech queens and princesses stayed here. The complex includes working vineyards, a castle café and wine shop.

The last Czech queen to reside here was Johanka z Rožmitálu, wife of George of Poděbrady, until 1475.
The north wing with its two-storey loggia is covered in sgraffito from 1553, among the oldest in Bohemia.
