Hořovice State Castle is an early Baroque residence from the second half of the 17th century, surrounded by an English park and a French garden. It offers three tour circuits, including Games and Toys of Young Aristocrats, which is suitable for the youngest visitors. The castle is administered by the NPÚ and organises theatrical tours and educational programmes for schools.

The court of honour is separated from the park by a wall with wrought-iron grilles and sculptures from the workshop of Matyas Bernard Braun (the Hercules Gate).
