A chateau in the foothills of the Hostýn Hills with three exhibitions of the town museum. The guided tour route includes an exhibition of Napoleonic soldiers in the former chapel of the outer chateau grounds, the exhibitions Ceramics, Bystřice Guilds and the Study of František Táborský, and an exhibition of Historic Bentwood Furniture. On the second floor there is a tour called "What Lies Behind the Secret Door" about the Loudon family. The chateau park belongs to the Czech Army and is not accessible to the public. Tickets are sold at the municipal information centre in the outer chateau grounds.

Why visit this place?

• Emperor Franz Joseph I visited the chateau in 1897; the commemorative inscription and the sundial in the first courtyard were made by painter Hanuš Schwaiger.
• Count Wengerský commissioned painter Jan Sviták to decorate the ceremonial hall, whose interior carries romantic murals with Egyptian landscape motifs.
• Allow roughly an hour and a quarter; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
