The intricate system of Vyšehrad casemates – underground passages for rapid troop movement – was created in the 17th and 18th centuries during the construction of the Baroque bastion fortifications. The tour leads to the Gorlice hall, the largest underground space in historic Prague, where the original six Myslbek statues from Charles Bridge are stored. Above ground there is the Rotunda of St. Martin and a park with views of the Vltava.
