Military museum opened in 2008 in building no. 11 of the former fortress barracks complex in Staré Město pod Sněžníkem. The exhibition is dedicated to Czechoslovak permanent fortifications from 1935–1938 and the history of the barracks from the Josephine era. The surrounding area contains 44 light and 6 heavy bunkers; a nature trail (7.5 km) leads past the five largest heavy fortification structures, some of which are freely accessible from the inside.
