The Komořany Heating Plant near Most is a major heat and power source in northern Bohemia. Its operator, United Energy, runs free 60–75 minute guided tours: the tour leads through the plant's premises including the main control room and covers its history, present operations and future plans. Tours are open to schools and the general public (primary school pupils and older only), groups range from 5 to 30 people, and they take place from April to June and September to October.

The Komořany heating plant was built in 1963 and still supplies Most and Litvínov, originally also Chomutov.
The original village of Komořany was demolished for mining in 1986–1987 and its cadastre passed to Most on 1 January 1988.
Admission is free, which helps when the class budget is tight.
