The Strašínská Cave near Strašín in the Šumava region is a karst cave with an underground pool. It lies within the Kašperská vrchovina Nature Park and has been protected as a natural monument since 1967; it is the only larger natural cave in the system of the Sušice–Strakonice limestones. The total length of the passages is about 200 metres, stalactite decoration is absent, and instead the ceiling is adorned with bowl- and pot-shaped hollows scoured out by condensed water. The cave is closed until further notice.
