The baroque Valeč Castle on the edge of the Doupov Hills is surrounded by an extensive garden full of sculptures from the workshop of Matthias Bernard Braun, with allegories of human qualities and figures from Greek mythology. The original sculptures are protected in a lapidarium, while their replicas adorn the freely accessible park, which is open year-round. The grounds include a summer house, the Church of the Holy Trinity, and the Prádelna café in the park. Several tour routes are available, including the gardens and evening tours.

When the estate was sold in 1797, the records still listed an unpaid debt of 810 guldens and 54 kreuzers owed to the workshop of sculptor Matyáš Bernard Braun.
After the Second World War war veterans and children from Korea lived here, and from the mid-1950s the chateau served as an orphanage. It burned down in 1976.
