The Old Town Hall, established in 1338, is a national cultural monument and a symbol of Prague's history. Its southern tower bears the world-famous Astronomical Clock, on which a procession of the twelve apostles appears every hour. The tour includes historic ceremonial halls, the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, Romanesque-Gothic cellars and a tower with a viewing terrace reached by a modern lift.
