One of the best-known Šumava centers for downhill and cross-country skiing, in the village of Stachy. A total of 12 slopes across Zadov, Churáňov and Nové Hutě, two cable cars (Zadov–Kobyla and Zadov–Churáňov) and a number of lifts. A center for ski training courses.
