A Šumava ski area in Brčálník near Hojsova Stráž, 13 km from Železná Ruda. It sits at an altitude of roughly 840 metres below the ridges of Pancíř and Špičák and has one poma lift with a slope about 500 metres long. Free parking is around 20 metres from the lift, and at the bottom station there is seating with refreshments and a rental shop for ski and snowboard equipment. A quiet area with no queues, suitable for families with children, beginners and ski training courses.
