The Museum of Folk Buildings in Kouřim is a supra-regional open-air museum preserving traditional rural architecture from central, eastern, and northern Bohemia dating from the 17th–19th centuries. On a 5-hectare site stand 14 relocated buildings with authentic interiors – residential houses, barns, granaries, workshops, and religious structures. The museum organises living ethnographic programmes and is suitable for school trips focused on rural history.

Guided tours adapted for school groups: traditional crafts, rural ways of life, folk building architecture. During the season, living ethnographic events take place with demonstrations of traditional customs and crafts.
