Schindler's Knitting Mill in Krásná Lípa – a historic textile factory in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland. Exhibition of textile production, demonstrations of knitting on historical machines. The natural scenery of the national park combined with the industrial heritage of the region.

Why visit this place?

• The knitting mill has run without interruption since 1854 and is the only mill in Czechia to have kept its original production programme.
• In the past it produced for brands such as Falke, Bode and Lufthansa; today it supplies Swiss Post.
• Allow roughly an hour; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
• There are 31 more tips within 25 km, enough to build a full-day trip.
• The whole programme is indoors, so rain is not a problem.
