One of the oldest monasteries in Bohemia, founded around 1032 by St. Procopius. The only place in Bohemia where liturgy was conducted in Old Church Slavonic during the Middle Ages. The complex includes a Baroque church of St. Procopius, Gothic ruins, a cloister and a chapter house with Gothic frescoes. A national cultural monument and active pilgrimage site.
