An interactive exhibition on Třeboň fishpond engineering in a Renaissance house on the square. The building is among the best-preserved Renaissance houses in Třeboň and took its present form in the first half of the 16th century, when the pond builder Štěpánek Netolický lived there. The permanent exhibition covers his work, above all the Zlatá stoka canal of more than 45 kilometres that links the Třeboň ponds. The house also has gallery space and offers workshops, lectures and school programmes.

Small basins set into the courtyard paving stand for the pond system and a channel for the Golden Canal; visitors control the flow themselves.
