A unique fish hatchery of the Šumava National Park focused on breeding genetically native fish species – brown trout (stream form), grayling, burbot, and bullhead. The hatchery sits at an elevation of 900 m, where exceptionally clean water from the Teplá Vltava river enables the rearing of salmonid fish. A guided tour with a specialist includes outdoor rearing tanks and a feeding demonstration where the fish leap above the surface.
