A new fishery museum opened in June 2025 on the dam of the largest Czech pond, Rožmberk, presenting the history of Třeboň pond farming and the work of fishermen. The exhibition was created by Rybářství Třeboň a.s. in cooperation with the Secondary School of Fishery and Water Management of Jakub Krčín; the museum can only be visited as a guided tour by appointment (min. 6 persons). An excellent destination during the Rožmberk pond harvest in October.

Why visit this place?

• Allow roughly an hour; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
