A neo-Gothic brick lookout tower in the shape of a minaret above Karlovy Vary. It stands on Hamerský (Jižní) Hill above the spa centre, was completed in 1876 and opened to the public in 1877; it is a replica of a lookout tower in Schleswig, northern Germany. It has two viewing galleries lined with battlements, with 79 steps leading to the upper one. It offers views of Karlovy Vary and the Ore Mountains, partly screened by trees.
