Stone lookout tower from 1934 on Svatobor hill (845 m) above Sušice, 31.6 m tall with 182 steps. Voted the most beautiful lookout tower in the Plzeň Region, it offers a panoramic view of Šumava and the Pošumaví area.

Why visit this place?

• The first tower, completed in 1898, had to be demolished in 1934 because of cracks and a lean of 1.78 metres. A new one to a design by architect Karel Houra replaced it in 3 months.
