A stone lookout tower from 1936 on Mařský vrch (907 m above sea level) near Vimperk. It is 12 metres tall with a viewing gallery at a height of eight metres; the chapel of St Wenceslas stands right beside it and a Way of the Cross leads to both. Mature trees now block most of the view, which has remained mainly to the north and north-west — towards the Šumava peaks of Javorník, Můstek and Pancíř and the Strakonice area. Freely accessible year-round.

• The foundation stone of the tower with its chapel was laid in 1935 at the urging of priest Frantisek Teply, and the opening followed on 24 May 1936.
• The tower is 12 metres tall with 37 steps to the top; in 2004 it was renovated together with the chapel of St Wenceslas.
