A 36-metre steel tube tower with an external spiral staircase, built in 2000, stands on the summit of Mackova hora (488 m a.s.l.) near Nové Strašecí. From the open platform at 21 m height there are views over the Křivoklátsko highlands and the Bohemian Central Highlands. A refreshment and souvenir stall is located at the tower.
