The dominant 42-metre cylindrical Great Tower of one of the most beautiful medieval castles in Bohemia – Křivoklát Castle. The castle was founded in the 13th century as a hunting residence of the Přemyslid dynasty. From the castle tower there are views over the Rakovnický stream valley and the Křivoklátsko forests (Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area). Tower access is included as part of the castle tour.
