A wooden observation tower built in 2005 stands on the summit of Boubín (1,362 m a.s.l.) in the Šumava National Park. It offers views of the Šumava primeval forests, the Alps, and all of southern Bohemia. The summit is accessible via hiking trails from Kubova Huť or Zátoň.
