The tallest wooden lookout tower in the Czech Republic (50.7 m) on a gentle rise northeast of the village of Bohdaneč in the Kutná Hora region, opened in 2011. The viewing platform at a height of 40.6 m is reached by 217 steps. In clear weather you can see as far as the ridges of the Krkonoše and Šumava mountains.
