The underground of the Hot Spring Colonnade in Karlovy Vary offers a glimpse into the places where so-called stone roses form — carbonate deposits of the thermal spring. The Administration of Natural Healing Springs organises guided tours of the underground of the Vřídlo spring, the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, the Mill Colonnade, and other routes. Vřídlo is the most famous thermal spring in the Czech Republic, with a temperature of up to 73 °C and a yield of 2,000 l/min.
