The Podřipské muzeum was founded in 1900 and documents the history and nature of the Podřipsko region. The permanent exhibition guides visitors through the region's prehistory, Middle Ages and modern era, complemented by a natural history section, the Mechanical Říp, a collection of ancient vases and terracottas, and an outdoor exhibition. The museum is a contributory organisation of the town and hosts lectures, workshops and guided tours of the Jewish cemetery. The entrance is from náměstí Jana z Dražic, close to both the bus and railway stations.

• The main draw is the moving diorama Mechanical Říp, inspired by collage postcards titled Říp of the Future from 1907 to 1918.
