Panská skála near Kamenický Šenov is the oldest protected geological formation in the Czech Republic and one of the most visited geological sites in Bohemia. The basalt columns up to 15 m tall resemble giant organ pipes — hence the folk name Kamenné varhany (Stone Organ). An excellent destination for school excursions focused on geology, natural science and the history of nature conservation.
