A new visitor and educational centre in the birthplace of the Hussite military commander Jan Žižka of Trocnov, opened to the public at the end of April 2026 following extensive renovation. The museum building houses an interactive exhibition devoted to the life, work and era of Jan Žižka – five rooms with six information kiosks, period artefacts, displays on Hussite history, and an exhibition about the 2022 film Jan Žižka directed by Petr Jákl. The grounds include a children's corner, a lecture hall, refreshments with a terrace and a new car park; the centre connects to an educational trail and the Trocnov Archaeological Open-Air Museum.
