Since 2012 the shoemaking collection has been part of the Baťa Principle exhibition in Building 14. The exhibition traces the history of the Baťa company from its founding in 1894 to its nationalisation after the Second World War, and incorporates the original collections of the shoe museum and of Zlín Chateau. On display are around 600 exhibits of exotic, folk, historical and Baťa footwear — one of the largest collections in Europe — and part of a factory shoe production line in which some machines still work today. The building is barrier-free, with parking and toilets.
