The Soos National Nature Reserve near Františkovy Lázně is a unique geological site nicknamed the 'Czech Yellowstone'. It offers a nature trail around a peat bog, bubbling mofettes (CO2 vents) and mineral springs. The site includes a natural science exhibition, a DINO pavilion and a geopark with educational programmes for schools.
