A branch of the Muzeum Vysočiny Jihlava is housed in the Schumpeter House in Třešť. Since 2003 it has occupied the house from which the world-renowned economist Joseph Alois Schumpeter came, and a permanent exhibition is devoted to him. Also on view are the Chateau Room, the permanent exhibition Vanished Industry of Třešť and short-term thematic exhibitions. The museum organises lectures and educational programmes for kindergartens and primary schools.
