The world-famous Museum of Records and Curiosities in Pelhřimov preserves evidence of world and Czech records across a wide range of fields. Interactive exhibitions, curious record holders and entries from the Guinness Book of Records. A fun attraction for the whole family.

Why visit this place?

• The museum opened on 30 June 1994 and occupies five floors of Pelhřimov's Dolní brána gate, also called the Jihlavská brána.
• The Zlaté české ručičky exhibition is built around matchstick models: Tomáš Korda from Vrchlabí made more than 80 of them.
• The exhibition is interactive — it expects you to touch the exhibits and try them out.
• Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at every age group from preschool to secondary school.
• There are 13 more tips within 25 km, enough to build a full-day trip.
