A museum in the timbered Antonín Strnadl Memorial of 1835 in the heart of Wallachia. The exhibitions commemorate the painter and illustrator Antonín Strnadl, who had a studio here in 1935 and 1936, Wallachian sheep farming with its old herding tools, and the museum’s founder Karel Langer. The Maštal exhibition hall hosts changing shows and the attic serves as a summer gallery of regional art. The village information centre is part of it, and tours for schools and groups are available.

Why visit this place?

• Besides the tour there are hands-on workshops, so children get to make something themselves.
• Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at lower primary and upper primary.
