The Prácheň Museum in Písek is located in the historic centre and covers the history of the Písek region from prehistoric times to the modern era. The Písek Stone Bridge – the oldest standing bridge in Bohemia, built in 1265 – forms part of a historic walking tour. The museum offers educational programmes for schools with a focus on regional history and archaeology.
