A historic tram depot from 1909 houses an exhibition on Prague public transport. Over 40 historic vehicles are on display. Visitors can sit behind the controls of a tram and view unique photographs and documents from the National Film Archive. On weekends, the historic tram line 42 is in operation.

Why visit this place?

• The Střešovice depot was built in 1908–1909, opened for traffic on 24 October 1909 and has been a listed monument since 12 December 1991.
• The city transport company opened the museum here in May 1993, right after the depot stopped serving regular traffic in 1992.
• The exhibition is interactive — it expects you to touch the exhibits and try them out.
• Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at every age group from preschool to secondary school.

• The whole programme is indoors, so rain is not a problem.
