The largest and most significant museum in the Zlín Region, with extensive exhibitions on natural history, ethnography, archaeology and the history of Baťa's Zlín. Guided commentary tours, educational programmes and interactive exhibitions.

Why visit this place?

• Since 2013 the museum has occupied the restored building no. 14 of the former Baťa factory complex, part of 14|15 BAŤŮV INSTITUT.
• It first opened to the public on 13 February 1944 in a floor of the Tomáš Baťa Memorial that the Baťa management set aside for the collections.
• The exhibition is interactive — it expects you to touch the exhibits and try them out.
• Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
• There are 75 more tips within 25 km, enough to build a full-day trip.
• The whole programme is indoors, so rain is not a problem.
