The Museum of Historical Chamber Pots and Toilets in Ovčáry near Kolín holds around 2,800 exhibits. The collection is one of the largest in the world and traces the development of toilets from the 15th century to those of the space programme — there are chamber pots made for Napoleon Bonaparte, for the Titanic and for the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House, as well as toilet chests, commode chairs, carriage toilets and ladies' bourdaloues. The exhibition is housed in the showrooms of the SAPHO Koupelny company and opens only on selected Saturdays, with a paid guided tour led by the curator.
