Muzeum čs. armády 1938 – Jindřichův Hradec

The museum is located in the 1st gate of the Jindřichův Hradec State Castle and Chateau. The exhibition is devoted to the Czechoslovak army in September 1938 – infantry weapons and equipment, a heavy machine gun in firing position, a period-furnished customs office room, a 1:1 scale cross-section of a bunker, a civilian air-raid shelter and a soldiers' camp. Visitors can pick up some of the exhibits and try on helmets, gas masks or a uniform. The museum is operated by the same association as the Museum of Czechoslovak Fortifications in Klášter u Nové Bystřice.
