A six-floor nuclear shelter from 1960 in the grounds of the former Dukla mine near Havířov is the only facility of its kind open to the public in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Enthusiasts from Archa Projekt are restoring the shelter to its original state and presenting it as a Museum of Civil Defence with period equipment: operations room, diesel generator room, communications technology, and command headquarters. Tours by prior arrangement for groups.
