The museum is located on the 1st floor of the abbot's wing of the famous Benedictine monastery in Broumov. Six rooms, including the monumental Stone Hall, present the history of the monastery, the town and the Broumovsko region. Children can visit the interactive medieval monastic scriptorium Skriptorium, where they try quill writing, parchment scraping and making natural dyes.

Why visit this place?

• Besides the tour there are hands-on workshops, so children get to make something themselves.
• Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
