The Municipal Museum in Aš has been housed since 1966 in the so-called Zámeček (Little Chateau) on Mikulášská Street. It documents the history of the Aš region, its textile production and above all its glove-making industry, which made the town famous around the world; the collection of glove samples comprises over 26 thousand pieces. The museum also administers a textile museum, an ethnographic exhibition and exhibition spaces in the former fire station on Poštovní náměstí.
