Mlékárna OLMA Olomouc

Location: Pavelkova 597/18, 779 00 Olomouc · Olomouc Region

Category: dairy with educational centre

The OLMA dairy in Olomouc's Holice district is one of the largest milk producers in the Czech Republic. The site houses a company shop, Jogurtárna, selling OLMA products as well as other brands. OLMA does not offer a "Mléčný svět" (Milk World) educational centre or public tours of production – factory visits are documented only as individually arranged specialist excursions for secondary schools of food technology.

Why visit this place?

• The exhibition is interactive — it expects you to touch the exhibits and try them out.
• Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at every age group from preschool to secondary school.
• There are 67 more tips within 25 km, enough to build a full-day trip.
• The whole programme is indoors, so rain is not a problem.
