The largest public library in the Czech Republic is located in the centre of Prague and features an extensive children's department as well as a dedicated play area for the youngest visitors. The library organises thematic talks, reading and information literacy lessons, and author meetings for nursery, primary and secondary school classes. The offer includes reading clubs, workshops and project days aligned with the cross-cutting themes of the national curriculum. Admission and all school lessons are free of charge.
