The LKLT sports airfield on the north-eastern edge of Prague with grass runways. Flight schools operate here, aircraft flights are on offer and the grounds also serve as a multi-purpose area for concerts and film productions. An Airfield Day is held once a year. The airfield has no museum exhibition of its own, but it neighbours the Aviation Museum Kbely.

Why visit this place?

• The airfield is among the oldest in Czechia, founded in 1924 together with the relocation of the state military aircraft factory Letov.
• From 2005 to 2023 the airfield grassland was protected as a national natural monument because of its European ground squirrels.
• Allow roughly two hours; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
• There are 215 more tips within 25 km, enough to build a full-day trip.
